Pallet Stackers

A pallet stacker is a type of pallet jack that is utilized to transport, stack and lift palletized produce that are too heavy for manual lifting. Its key function is to load and unload pallets on trucks, in addition to transferring pallets to and from an assortment of places within a storeroom space or stockroom. On the whole pallet stackers are made of heavy duty materials to endure tremendous weights. Pallet stackers are occasionally called pallet jacks. They can be operated from a seated, upright or walk-behind position. Pallet stackers are separated into manual and powered varieties.

Pallet jacks are normally comprised of a set of forks that are able to slide under a pallet, capable of raising to a desired height or moving it to a specified location. The engine section or casing houses the gas-run, electronic or hydraulic gear that powers the instrument.

Typically, pallet jacks come in walk-behind versions that are hand-powered. This means that they are moved by pushing and pulling the jack into its preferred location, while lifting the heavy pallets will be operated hydraulically making this job a lot easier. Using a foot pedal or handle raises the stackerÔ??s forks. Squeezing a lever or trigger returns the forks to the ground. These types of pallet jacks are perfect for lighter loads of up to approximately 1 ton or 907.18 kg.

Electric or gas driven pallet jacks can accommodate extreme lifting weights of up to 5 tons or 4535.92 kg. They are physically less demanding than the manual models thanks to the automated power to elevate and lower the stackerÔ??s forks. These styles are steered by rotating the handle in a particular direction. There is a button on the handle that functions to lift and lower the forks. A throttle set up on the stackerÔ??s grips moves the machine forward and in reverse. This variety of equipment is generally known as a forklift and is used from a sit-down position.

Choosing the right version of pallet stacker can be somewhat critical as models will have varying lift capabilities, together with varying fork widths. Some designs of jacks might only allow two pallets to be loaded at one time, whilst other versions may be able to stack multiple pallets. Some versions of these hoists feature an changeable fork so as to allow the stacker to slide under pallets of unusual sizes and shapes. These models are effective when an assortment of styles of pallets are used within a workspace.
